A lot has happened here since the AOC Champagne was founded in 1927. Hardly any other wine-growing region is so strongly associated with the eywords quality, luxury and celebration, and this is due in part to the clever marketing of the major maisons and in part to the tireless pursuit of perfection by the winegrowers in this northern French region.

One of these perfectionists is Nicolas Maillart, who in a very short time his small family business into one of the best winegrowing champagne houses

in a very short time. You are already familiar with the white Brut Platine, but now Nicolas' 1er Cru Rosé is really taking off, and I don't want to keep it from you. The rosé is made from a cuvée of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The result is complex and hedonistic.

The wine is light pink in the glass. It smells of strawberries, brioche, and raspberries. On the palate, it is intense and complex with a fine mousse and invigorating acidity.
