We are all waiting longingly for some stable summer weather, because the right rosé for summer is already chilling in my fridge. Mas de Cadenet is a small, family-run producer from Provence, and I've appreciated their wines for a long time. The estate works organically in the vineyard and produces clear, fresh rosé wines that rank among the best in the region.

The L'Échappée Belle, which translates roughly as "a lovely getaway," is a cuvée of the grape varieties Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle. The result is a particularly lively and light rosé – so you're all set for summer!

The wine is fruity and fresh, showing aromas of strawberry, raspberry and grapefruit. On the palate it is fresh and lively.
