Close your eyes, put your nose to the glass, and suddenly you’re sitting in the warm evening sun on a creaking wooden chair. Before you lies a view of white sand and then azure water, as far as the eye can see. You take a sip and hear the sound of the waves and the muffled conversations from the neighboring tables. The evening has only just begun, but this moment could last forever.

Wine can do that. How intensely we experience such moments depends on our imagination—but wine allows us to travel through time and space. When I tasted the Fteri yesterday, I was suddenly somewhere else entirely. In a place of longing. You don’t need a great wine for that. You need a wine with identity and expression. And that is exactly what the Fteri brings—in impressive abundance.

The Fteri is golden in color with delicate copper notes. It smells of lychee, jasmine blossoms, and grapefruit. On the palate, it is crisp, fresh, and completely dry, with moderate acidity and an invigorating finish.
