After a career as a sommelier, wine merchant and wine bar owner the wind blew Laurent back to his old home in Cahors. There he teamed up with Francois, whose family has been producing foie gras in the region for generations and searches for truffles. Today, they produce wines together, that bring a breath of fresh air to the glass. Their small Domaine Le Vent de Jours focuses on the grape varieties of the region and it is particularly important to them to produce wines that are not too complicated and can be paired with many dishes.

Le Zef is a light, refreshing Merlot that is produced without sulphur and free from other additives. It is a juicy and lively red wine, which can also be combined with vegetable dishes or fish.

The wine is light purple in the glass. It shows fresh and precise fruit aromas of cherry and strawberry. It is light and refreshing on the palate, with few tannins and an invigorating finish.
