2021 Arco Arcum
2021 Arco Arcum
The wine has aromas of pepper, blackberries and prunes. These are joined by notes of cigar box and orange zest. On the palate, it is particularly intense and ripe with intense tannins and plenty of power. It has a very long and intense finish.

The weather in Germany currently calls for soothing warmth rather than refreshment. As temperatures drop outside and you snuggle up by the fireplace, you need a wine that will chase the chill from your bones. I have just the perfect bottle for that...
Arco Arcum is a very special wine – so it's no wonder that it gets snatched up every time I have it. The small winery in Negrar is run by Luca Fedrigo, who learned his craft from none other than Giuseppe Quintarelli, a legend of Valpolicella. After ten years at his side, Luca took the plunge into independence.
His winery is located just a few minutes outside Verona, where he produces wines with strong character – sometimes unconventional, but always impressive. The 2021 vintage was exceptionally good, and the Arcum once again shows itself at its best.
